To thank them and congratulate their hard work, Monday they got to join me for lunch. Now, had I done that extra work, that wouldn't seem like a reward to me, but kids will do anything to eat lunch in the classroom with teachers. I seriously don't get it. However, it's easy enough on this end! Along with the sweet reward of classroom lunch, I printed each of them a certificate, and found this cute idea for "beakers" of Jell-O on Pinterest. Is anything cheaper than Jell-O? I think not. With a little advanced prep and a sharpie in hand, I crafted these cutsie treats, and they were so impressed that you can make the colors "float." Oh, my little science wizards! :) I loved it. We had so much fun, and it was a great kick-off to our last week of school this quarter for those students who continually go above and beyond.
Do you have any active bulletin board ideas for quarter 3?
