- Our little pumpkin had to, of course, be celebrated with pumpkin cake and cookies.
- Fall is one of our favorite seasons, and the warm, fall colors would've easily celebrated a 'she' just as they did our fine little Mister!
- We utilized our mom's surplus of burlap runners, rustic lanterns, and touches of pumpkin, moss, and warm candles throughout the shower.
What seems like 100 years ago, my sisters and I planned a fall baby shower for November 14th for our oldest sister & her sweet little pumpkin. Fast-forward about two months, and that little bugger made his appearance very early, the shower was re-planned for "when she's a little settled," and it wound up working out on the 14th after all! All negatives aside, we were excited, because this fall-themed baby shower was too fun to put together! Here were our favorite details:
It's been such a busy fall, and my favorite thing to do in the fall is visit home during harvest. I hadn't gotten that chance yet, but luckily, I made it back this weekend before they finish up this week! My weekend included seeing my sweet new nephew, and celebrating my cousin's love bug turning one. This week I'll have fun baby shower treats and recaps as I prep for my sister's post-baby baby shower, and I'm hoping to try my hand at one of my Grammy's old favorite recipes. Stay tuned!
