We've also packed them for picnics after a bike-ride, and we've shared them with so many others. My mom found them years ago in a summer cookbook, and they're so easy to throw together before forgetting about them in the oven as you get ready. We didn't make them this 4th, but we did throw together a batch last weekend after we'd had a big lunch, but knew we'd be hungry after a couple hours of swimming that night. The longer these bake, the gooier the sauce gets, and it's so flavorful, you'll be after that end result! Grab these ingredients for your next picnic or summer get-together :)
½ C. honey
1/3 C. soy sauce
2 T. Dijon mustard
½ tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. minced ginger root or dry ginger
Preheat oven to 325. Wash chicken & place on paper towels. Whisk together dressing. Place wings in a greased 9x13 baking dish. Pour sauce over wings & bake 1 hour, or until sauce is bubbly and sticky.
