6 oz. flank steak, grilled rare & sliced thin
1 red onion
2 T. butter
1/2 tsp. sugar
4 T. balsamic vinegar
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
8 oz. fresh mozzarella cheese
1 C. parmesan cheese
2 C. marinara sauce
1/4 C. steak sauce (I like A1 on this pizza!)
To caramelize onions, slice thin, and cook over medium-heat with butter, 2 T. balsamic vinegar, and 1/2 tsp. sugar for about 12 minutes. Set aside.
Mix Worcestershire and remaining vinegar into marinara sauce. Spread over pizza dough, and top with caramelized onions & fresh mozzarella. Bake 475 for 10 minutes. When this comes out, *spread sliced steak over top. Sprinkle with parmesan & steak sauce. Enjoy!
*I have done this method, and I've also tossed the pizza back in for about 3 minutes to warm the steak again & melt the parmesan. Either method will do!
