I tweaked this a bit by adding some garlic, onion, and a little brown sugar to my sauce. Additionally, when this was done in the crock pot, I stirred in steamed broccoli before serving this over rice. It was delicious, and so little work on my part...somehow I managed to not get a picture of this one, but it looks like Chinese ;) Enjoy!
4 chicken breasts
1 C. teriyaki sauce
1 C. water
1 can pineapple chunks, drained
1 onion, chopped
1/3 C. brown sugar
1 tsp. ginger
3 cloves garlic, minced
(2 C. steamed broccoli, to serve)
Place all in crock pot except broccoli; cover and cook 4-6 hours on low. When cooked, shred chicken & allow to sit in juice. When ready to serve, add 2 C. cooked broccoli, and serve with steamed rice.
